If I’m not satisfied with the product, do I get a full refund?
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, XShot offers a 30 day money back guarantee for all products purchased from XShot.com, less the cost of shipping. If you purchased your product from a retailer or online store, you will need to inquire with them as to their return policies.

WARRANTY
XShot Inc. fully guarantees all XShot products for all manufacturing faults and defects. Contact us if you have received a defective unit, or if you believe that your XShot is not performing as it should. Email sales@xshot.com or call 1-866-974-6899 in the US or Canada.

Please note that this warranty does not cover damage due to abuse or misuse of the XShot extender or phone cases/accessories. XShot Inc. is not responsible for any lost or damaged cameras or phones while using any XShot product.

The XShot is not made for DSLRs or heavy cameras. The built-in 1/4” tripod socket at the base of the handle is intended for accessory usage and not recommended for high-stress activities such as attaching to moving vehicles or for bearing heavy loads.

DOES THE XSHOT HAVE A MIRROR?
Because the XShot extends several feet, the frame size more than doubles and the margin of error is much less. Thus a mirror is not needed. Even if we considered placing a small mirror at several feet away, it would be too far to see it.

 IS THE XSHOT WATERPROOF?
The 2015 XShot Sports is 100% waterproof and the previous versions are water-resistant and we advise users to rinse them with clear water and dry them with a cloth for a smooth use.

Use

HOW DO YOU TAKE THE SHOT ? 
Depending on the device you use (smartphone, GoPro, Compact camera with Bluetooth or not) you have several ways to trigger the shot : self-timer, Bluetooth Remote or video mode.

DO ALL CAMERAS, INCLUDING GOPRO, ATTACH TO THE XSHOT EXTENDERS AND SELFIE STICKS ? 
The XShot poles are designed for digital compact cameras and camcorders. It will support any camera that has a standard tripod insert and weighs less than 1.25lbs. They are not designed for DSLRs.

Some of our products have 2 interchangeable heads and can switch in seconds from a GoPro Mount to a 1/4-20 tripod head : XShot Pro and XShot Sports Ball-Head.

The XShot 2.0 for GoPro and the XShot Sports have a native GoPro head, but can be used with any camera using the standard  ¼-20” connection thanks to the GoPro to ¼-20” adapter.

All the other XShot extenders, including the XShot 2.0, XShot Pocket and Selfie Sticks, have a 1/4″ tripod head and can be used safely with a GoPro camera thanks to a ¼-20″ to GoPro adapter.

HOW DO YOU ATTACH IT TO THE CAMERA?
The XShot camera adapter features a quick spin knob that allows users to quickly secure the XShot to their camera. The custom camera adapter on the XShot allows for 180 degrees of rotation for best camera angle and positioning. All this secured by the thumb screw that locks the camera in the desired angle without shifting when you take the shot because of the weight and movement.

IS THERE A CAMERA WEIGHT LIMIT?
XShot holds safely a maximum camera weight of 1.25lb. (570g) Because the XShot is made out of reinforced metal it is able to carry a much heavier load than other products made out of plastic or plain metal.

CAN YOU USE THE XSHOT WITH A SMARTPHONE?
Yes, you just need to use a phone case with a tripod or GoPro mount, or attach your phone to your XShot with a Phone Holder, and you can shoot your pictures and videos with any phone, including the iPhone 6 and 6+.

Shipping

What is your shipping policy?
Orders will be processed and shipped from our warehouse in Illinois within 2 business days.

All shipments are sent via USPS unless you select UPS 2nd day or UPS next day (USA only).

Standard shipping does not include a tracking number, it is USPS 1st class mail. You will however be emailed a delivery confirmation number. Once the order is shipped you will receive a shipping notification via email.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship anywhere in the world using USPS Priority International and USPS Express International. Please note that there are sometimes customs delays that are out of our control. Be sure to check our Where to Buy page to see if there is anywhere you can buy locally.
