It is still the 4th of July long week-end in the U.S. with lots of family time, barbecues with friends and sparkles in the eyes from last night’s fireworks.
July is also vacation time and we chose an awesome family travel picture taken in Cancun, Mexico.
Can’t get much better: cute and happy family with a gorgeous background and crystal clear waters on the Club Med beach…

XShot Travel Photography tip: Self-portrait
This pictures is a great example of how to hold the XShot to make a perfectly natural self-portrait.
It is almost impossible to realize that the dad in the center took the shot himself. Look how the photographer keeps his arm holding the camera extender close to his body and not up in front of him. He has the XShot camera on a stick shooting up at 3 feet to be able to get the whole group AND the background.
