    Good for the price

    I purchased the cheaper go pro like camera for my autistic son who wanted a camera but he had a hard time holding onto the tiny camera so I got this to actually use as a handle for him to use the camera. Works great for that - and does actually float as expected as well.

    Floats if you drop your camera, easy to see because it's yellow, makes it easy to hold your camera steady for underwater photography.

    Float Handle for GoPro & Action Cams With Internal Storage 1The adapter features a native GoPro mount and includes an adapter for any tripod-based camera such as Sony, Ion, Contour, and others. The Float Handle will also work with point & shoot cameras. It is the perfect accompanient for skin diving, snorkeling, and scuba diving, or just surf or water filming!   The XShot Float Handle features an internal water-tight storage compartment, allowing it to be used for the safe keeping of small objects (e.g., keys, cash, etc.) or for buoyancy control by flooding the compartment, allowing the handle to be negative or neutrally buoyant when SCUBA diving. When not filled with water, the XShot Float Handle is buoyant and will support the flotation of most sports cameras. With GoPro cameras we recommend the use of a backdoor floaty as well, for added security.   The XShot Float Handle is made out of durable, high-visibility ABS plastic. Included with the kit is the float handle, thumb screw, lanyard, and aluminum carabiner suitable for clipping the handle to a SCUBA BC vest.
