We are very excited to share with you the Wandering Earl’s Travel “XShot Series”.

We have been following Earls’ adventures and travels around the world for quite a while, always curious to discover the places he would visit and loving his unique off-the-beaten-path approach. A few months ago, a common friend and fellow traveler Anil Polat, better know as foXnoMad , let him use his XShot camera extender in Istanbul, and Earl became addicted ever since 🙂

Let’s introduce Earl to those of you who never had the pleasure of reading his awesome travel blog: Derek Earl Baron left the United States 12 years ago for a 3-month post-graduation trip to Asia and has kept traveling ever since… Amazed by the experience, he chose to become a permanent nomad and has been in 6 continents and more than 70 countries, traveling, working, volunteering and most of all learning from those adventures and human interactions. What we love about him, is that is is not traveling to “simply check countries off a list”, but he is “constantly traveling around the world, always in search of that eye-opening first-hand education that only travel can provide.” Read more about his life as a permanent nomad.

The XShot – Why Every Traveler Should Carry One by Earl

“It’s so simple, yet it’s such a brilliant idea. And it’s something that is useful for every single traveler who takes photos during their adventures around the world. It’s actually useful for any human being who takes photos of anything, anywhere, at any time.”

“Just attach your camera, set the self-timer and extend the arm, and then say goodbye to your normal collection of standard shots as you begin to pile up photos that are so very different than any you’ve taken before. In addition, the XShot takes up practically no space at all in your backpack or suitcase and it weighs almost nothing, which helps make it even more addicting to use.” Source Wandering Earl

The XShot is a great travel photography accessory and works for videos as well. The telescopic monopod allows you to film any cool travel stunt from zip-lining in Costa Rica to body-surfing in Bali, or just doing a travel vlog or podcast while visiting any new interesting site. Wanderlust anyone?
